Always enjoyed German cuisine, but I rarely had access to it. For that reason, I always looked forward to visiting this restaurant while I was in the Black Forest in Germany. The waitstaff were so attentive and courteous. The food was also delicious - it just tasted so clean. The dimly lit space adds an intimate aspect to the refined ambiance. I mostly visited on business, but would like return at my own leisure.

A family favorite! Why! A comprehensive regular menu, a "specials" insert, a children's menu with a wide range of dishes. The foods range include all meat varieties, including lamb and fish, as well as vegetarian items. Appetizers are Mediterranean or tapas style; there's even a comprehensive pizza menu! Variety is amazing! But how's the food? Carefully, mostly freshly prepared, skillfully cooked and presented, large portions, and reasonably to cheaply priced. Service personal are attentive and friendly, reservations are accepted; there's also patio dining. Favorites - mixed grill plate, octopus salad, mussels, tortellini Bolognese, just about anything! Parking is street side, near the center of town; an underground parking garage is around the corner.

Cozy corner in a black forest town. Ambience is good, prices are ok, on the menu was a bit too much of everything which is good for variety but I'm not so sure of the quality. Granted, i haven't tried everything on the menu. When I visit such locales, i go for staples of the region that rarely disappoint. In this case, I had a turkey schnitzel with gravy and rice and a yummy side salad. It was good. Not award winning, but good. For 13€, it was definitely worth my money.

Good service, lovely interior, good beer on tap, good selection of wines. Need to change menu: as if three people can't compromise on dishes so put everything on (Spanish, Italian, German). Here, octopus salad, chicken schnitzel, paella and ministrone etc. sit oddly together. Had Snails with Cafe de Paris sauce - snails swimming in sauce: didn't pay homage to snails. Sauce normally used for steak. Otherwise, curtains and cushions needs updating. Feels like menu and some decor hasn't changed for 30 years. Could be really, really lovely with a bit of tweaking!

Fine atmosphere with reason prices. Food is nice like in every restaurant you will find better and worse but overall it is with to go there. They have big menu so for sure you will find something for yourself - see food is definitely worth trying.

Quality and taste is overall mediocre. Anything with tomato sauce I would not recommend. Too watery and tasteless. Gambas Pil-Pil was ok. Waiters are friendly, but not very attentive.
